Who we are
Churnora Inc. is a Delaware C corporation with its principal office at 600 Congress Avenue, Suite 1450, Austin, TX 78701, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Questions go to privacy@churnora.com.
What we collect, and why
We collect what is needed to score your customers and run your account, and nothing more.
| What | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Account email and password hash | To identify your account and sign you in. We never store or see the password itself. | Life of the account, then 30 days after deletion. |
| Imported customer behavioral data (login dates, usage counts, seat activity, support ticket counts, payment failure counts, tenure) | To run the churn model. These fields are the inputs the scorer reads. They are never used for any other purpose. | Until you delete the import or your workspace. |
| Contact form submissions and support messages | To answer your message. | 24 months. |
| Usage counts | To enforce the free tier and bill correctly. | 24 months. |
| Server logs (request paths and timings, no customer content) | Reliability and abuse prevention. | 30 days. |
How imported customer data is used
The behavioral fields you import, such as days since last sign-in, monthly login counts, or support ticket volume, are read by the churn model running in Churnora's own code. Scoring happens server-side, without sending raw records to any external service.
When a language model writes a plain-language explanation of an account's top risk factors, Churnora sends only that account's factor summary to the language provider: for example, last sign-in 31 days ago and 2 failed payments in 90 days. The raw import row is not sent. The language provider is under business API terms that prohibit using this traffic to train or improve their models.
We do not use your customer data to train our shared churn model or any other shared model. Your data informs scores for your accounts only. If you are on Scale and opt into per-tenant refitting, your labeled history trains a version of the model that runs only in your workspace.
We do not sell, license, or share your customer data with any third party for any purpose other than the language provider arrangement described above.
What we do not collect
- We run no advertising trackers and there are no third-party ad cookies on this site.
- We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
- We do not collect payment card numbers. Stripe handles the card and we never see it.
- We do not store customer names, emails, or any personally identifying fields from your import unless you include them. The model scores behavioral patterns, not identities.
Who your data goes to
Churnora uses a language provider to write plain-language factor explanations and draft save plays. Per-account factor summaries are sent to that provider under agreements prohibiting training on the traffic. That is the only third-party data flow tied to your customer records.
Our hosting and database providers store your data on our behalf inside the United States. Stripe processes payments if you subscribe. That is the complete list of processors. If it changes, this page changes first.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Churnora never sees your card number, CVV, or full billing address. Stripe is PCI-DSS certified. If a payment fails, Churnora receives a notification from Stripe and retries on the schedule you approved at checkout.
Retention and deletion
Deleting your workspace from Settings removes your account, all imports, all scores, all drafted plays, and all factor explanations from our database. Deletion is permanent and not reversible. Backups roll off within 30 days of a deletion event.
You can export everything you have imported and every score we have produced at any time from Settings, without deleting your account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or object to a particular use. Most of this you can do yourself: raw imports and scored results export from Settings, and the whole workspace deletes from Settings.
For anything else, email privacy@churnora.com and we will answer within 30 days. We will not charge you for it.
If you are in California, the CCPA rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale apply. We do not sell personal information. If you are in a jurisdiction covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on performance of a contract to give you the service you signed up for, and legitimate interests to keep the service secure.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will email account holders before it takes effect rather than quietly updating a date. Last updated August 2026.
